Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Deadly Desire Vol 2

Moving forward I’d like to try to do a few looks using a palette in a row 1) to have things to post and 2) because I like to use a palette more than once in a row (:

And I definitely need something to post because WordPress has totally convinced me others want my domain name and keeps me paying for it. Haha

Anyway, here’s this palette again

And here’s the look

I don’t think there’s a very wide range of variety in this palette when it comes to the mattes, but I think with the right combination of the shimmers and layering of the shimmers/metallics you can get a good amount of looks out of this palette

For this look I used Entice, Woods and Suspense

Entice is a nice crease shade and helped blend and soften Woods. I used Woods in the outer V of my lid and lightly in the crease. I had to build up the Woods shade but it works out because I can control how light or dark it shows up. I built it up darker in the outer corner to give some dimension to my eyelids.

I like that I can use this for a variety of looks, from natural to darker looks.

Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Deadly Desire

The Forever Flawless Deadly Desire was released in 2021 and is no longer available.

I like to continue using and posting older makeup because I’m sure other people still have older palettes and I’d love to be able to see and share looks using these palettes

I loves the cover of this palette and the embossing and the shade names. I can’t lie, these are aspects that okay heavily on my decision to buy a palette. Plus, these tin palettes from MR are good quality and I expensive

This is the look I did using this palette

I love the topper shade Greed, used all over the lid. It isn’t the most opaque shade but if you use it over a base it goces a nice pinky/purple shift. I’m sure you can also use it over a color base or other colors to make it pop more.

I hate using the shades with the skull embarrassing because I love the look but I’m past the days of hoarding makeup just because of how it looks lol

Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Enchanted look

I keep watching YouTubers talk about how they change up their makeup based on the seasons. I’m over here barely able to match colors and patterns.

So, I do what I want (haha I do what I *can*).

In order and placement:

  • Elm in crease and to set base (concealer or shadow primer)
  • Grim to darken crease
  • Vine in outer 1/3 of lid
  • Illusion in the center blended into vine
  • Hazel in inner 1/3 blended into Illusion
  • Realized the look was darker than I intended so I softly patted Frost all over lid
  • Charm tight lined along lower lashes
  • Elm to soften charm

I love the Forever Flawless palettes. The shadows are so easy to blend, apply, build up and last all day.

For my lipstick I used Colourpop Curve II all over

Do you change your look based on the seasons or time of the year?

“Halloween” Makeup!

As much as I love seeing creative holiday looks and would like to be more adventurous and editorial with my makeup I don’t foresee myself doing it anytime soon. That doesn’t mean I can enjoy a good Halloween collection though!

Last year Makeup Revolution released the Forever Flawless Haunted House palette and, after missing out on it the first go around, I decided to purchase it. Even if it was just because of the tin, oops >.<

Not only is the tin eye catching but the names are perfectly fitting for the theme!

Fortunately, the color story is something I can work with and the quality matches the rest of their Forever Flawless line.

I don’t limit palettes to seasons so have used this throughout the year but I did chose this as one of my monthly palettes for this month.

Something I noticed and was excited about it, is that within this palette I can see how my comfort levels have changed.

Last year I wound have completely stayed away from Decrepit, Petrify, Creepy and Undead but this year they were the first colors I gravitated to!

  • Peril in the crease blending up towards the brow
  • Decrepit in the crease, keeping it lower than Peril and blending it in the outer 1/3 of my lid building it up on the outer 1/3
  • Added Petrify to 1/3 of my lid to darken it up more, blending it towards the center of my lid
  • I used NYX Glitter Primer on the inner half of my lid focusing it more in the inner 1/3, patting it on. Wait a few seconds to let out dry
  • Apply Creak over primer with my finger or flat brush gently swiping it when you get to the center of the lid towards the outer edge to blend between the shimmer and matte shade
  • Clean up under the eye for any fallout, do remainder of face
  • Peril all over lash line
  • Decrepit in outer 1/3 lower last blending towards center
  • With my eye closed I took a small dense brush and applied Nightmare at my upper and lower lash line to darken it up a bit and give a blurred liner look
  • Afterwards I took a thin flat liner brush and tight lined my upper lash with Decrepit (but the brush and product tight into my lash line)
  • Applied Phantom between Peril and my eyebrow
  • Took a lip brush, I like these because they’re small and tightly packed which makes them perfect for picking up and precisely placing product in an area, and used Creep in the inner corner to add some brightness to the look

Did you pick up this palette? Or are you picking up this year’s?

Hope everyone has a great rest of their day and week!

Makeup Revolution Constellation

The Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless palettes are some of my favorite affordable palettes.

The color stories go so well together in each palette and there is a good variety to chose from. In addition, their tin packaging makes them stand out and hardy enough to travel with.

Today I used the Constellation palette which can look a bit intimidating as a work look palette.

$15 US

I managed to stay away from the one brown color in the palette and put together a look I felt comfortable going in to the office with while using the brighter colors

The colors were pigmented and easy to blend. Overall I was impressed at how vibrant the colors showed up.

Makeup Revolution Decadence

I picked up the Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Decadence a while back when they were buy 2 get 1 free at Ulta but I hadn’t used it until today.

I love the color scheme and based on previous palettes I have I was looking forward to using this.

The palette didn’t disappoint at all! The colors are pigmented and easy to blend. There is kickback from the shades but I personally love that so it doesn’t bother me at all.

Overall I’m really happy with how this palette performed and am looking forward to using it again and again!
