Colourpop Cookies n’ Cream is part of their new Feels Like Magic SSS vault (November 2022).
It has a black base with green-gold glitter and is the ultra-glitter formula.
I didn’t use a base or glitter primer to apply this and you can see there are some patchy spots. I went over the area three or four times. I waited a few seconds between the last and second to last layer which I should have done between the first and second layer.
I think it is possible to wear this without a base but it would probably pop more with a dark base.
I found it a little difficult to remove just using a makeup wipe which I would normally not use other than in between these swatches. I didn’t get any glitter fall out but I only wore it for a few minutes.
It doesn’t look like this shade is available outside of the vault.
I would like to start off by tipping my hats off to Colourpop for naming this beautiful green shadow after a popular house plant. I don’t know if that’s true but I’d like to think it is, haha.
This is a gorgeous dark olive green with green-gold glitter. The formula is ultra-glitter.
I love this green/gold color. It did take a few layers to build up to an even application but I think it could be worn on its own. I think this would benefit from being used over a glitter glue but as it is, I found it a little difficult to remove using only a makeup wipe.
As of December, 2022 it is not available outside the Feels Like Magic SSS vault.
Here’s a quick look using Colourpop super shock shadow Pug Life.
I had to build up the color with a couple of layers but I didn’t used a base or glitter primer.

I used Nomad Cosmetics Fêtes de Provence for the mattes in the look
Side note: I’m not sure what it is about these Nomad palettes but I’ve found them the easiest to use when it comes to pastel and cool toned colors. They’re so pigmented and easy to blend without fading away. I don’t know if it’s the formula or my comfort level but I would highly recommend them!
I haven’t written up a full face of makeup in a while so here goes

Here’s a quick makeup look using mostly Colourpop products.
Some of the products are no longer available so I figured I’d provide swatches in case anyone wanted to recreate the look or use similar colors!
At Forest Sight eyeshadow palette ALT lippie pencil (as liner) Best Intention Lippie Stix Flynn lux liquid lipstick Tick blush Main Attraction highlighter
I appreciate that I’m able to use the lippie pencils as eyeliners because I would never use green as a lip color lol.
I love the blushes and highlighters and wish they were still available. I feel like I’ve used these products so much, and the highlighter is on my pan project, but I haven’t hit pan yet and barely made a dent!
I wish Colourpop had a bronzer I could use but I’ve found their bronzer to be too light, too orange or too stiff and hard to blend.
Today I really wanted to use the Raw Beauty Kristi Colourpop collab but I also really wanted to use the second Morphe Jaclyn Hill collab. Fortunately, the two compliment each other!
I pulled crease colors from the Jaclyn Hill palette and the lower lash line color.f
From the Colourpop palette, I pulled darker colors to add depth to the look and the lid colors.
I wanted to blend Evergreen into West Coast to the out end but West Coast was too yellow gold for what I wanted to i layered Evergreen on top instead.

Other products used:
WetNWild Photofocus foundation dewy in Golden Beige. I usually go for matte but this has the perfect satin finish, not dewy at all!
Maybelline age rewind in 120 light. I used to really like this but lately it’s been feeling dry on my skin
Marc Jacobs Finish Line powder
Doll 10 Popstar Peach. I usually use this under powder but I forgot and figured I’d try it over. I didn’t notice any affect on my foundation but it made for a much brighter blush when I layered a powder over it. This was a Jen Phelps, on YouTube, recommendation and it’s hands down one of the best formulas. In not sure how I feel about the scent though. It’s a nice, yummy vanilla but it feels weird applying it to my face. I haven’t noticed it affecting my skin though
WetNWild Mellow Wine blush over to set (can skip two blushes but I don’t)
Smashbox Cali Contour palette for bronzer/contour and highlight. I like but don’t love. I want to love this palette so I keep it around
Urban Decay Horchata lipstick – the vice lipsticks were reformulated and the new ones are some of the most hydrating matte lipsticks I’ve tried
WetNWild Brow Sessive in Medium Brown. This is $1.99 on Target’s website and Amazon. I’ve really been loving this pencil, it’s soft and blends is perfect for my needs – which is just to fill in and brush out
I have a few acrylic storage pieces here and there but very few match and it felt like it was just everywhere.
Each section is $20 but I purchased it when it was on sale (as of 10/24 the sale is still live).
I have a lot of palettes and brushes and store the rest of my makeup seperate so I wasn’t going to get components E or B but in the end I picked up one of each to test the entire system.
I picked up 3 of component “A”, which is two “cup” holders for brushes, two component “C”, designed for palettes and has a few staggered short fronts, two component “D”s which are described to be to extend component “C” and one component “E” and one component “B”
From Rephr website
My packaged arrived fairly quick, within a week of ordering and I set it up right away. My immediate complaint is the frustrating packaging. Each component comes in a seperate box that has the little lip thing on the side that slides into the slot on the top. I ended up just ripping most of the tops off to get the product out.
Once I got everything out it was pretty simple to snap the pieces together. Like I thought though, component “C” and “D” don’t tie in together well. The different sizes of the front panels make it too awkward to use side by side. In hindsight I would get only component “C” or “D”, but I don’t think both are necessarily (or functional together). Since I purchased two of each, I placed each type together. One component “A” fits perfect behind two of the other components, which makes me wonder why those aren’t sold as sets of two as well.
The magnets are sturdy and the entire system holds together nicely. I love that I don’t have to worry about the individual components getting knocked around when I have products stored in them. I also thing the almost fully opaque black gives the system a sleek look. The three “A” components fit perfectly across my two cube bookcase.
As I was writing this, I realized components “C” and “D” aren’t meant to go side by side. “D” can be used to extend “C” in depth. I can’t set my components up like this because of the depth of my bookcase.
I used components “A” to hold slimmer palettes and brushes. And most of the other spaces were also used for different size palettes.
Overall I like the system, the way everything clips together with the magnets and the uniform look.
Do you need this? No. Are there more inexpensive options? Yes. But it’s a nice investment and I would definitely recommend it.
The dusk colors really appealed to me and…I hadn’t purchased a new palette in a bit, haha.
I love the subtle colors and the shimmer/metallics. I was most excited to see Miser (used on lid in this look) make a comeback in this palette (first available in LE Fortune palette).
In order to make the lid shade pop I use the NYX glitter primer.
The forumla does not disappoint, it’s easy to apply and blend. I’m excited to post more looks using this palette.
